ABOUT US

In 1982 the von Arnim family acquired the farm originally granted to the French Huguenot Pierre Jourdan in the seventeenth century, with the aim of creating sparkling wines in the traditional French method which relies exclusively on bottle fermentation. Further adhering to French tradition, the wine was named after the founder of the property.

Today, the Méthode Cap Classique range consists of the Brut, Belle Rose and the flagship Blanc de Blancs, which has been matured for 72 months on the lees. Our Tranquille, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, pays tribute to the still wine used to create our MCC, while the Ratafia takes inspiration from the fortified Chardonnay which is typically produced in France’s Champagne region.
